Terms of Use.

Using the platform.

By accessing Spotbusters HUB you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Your account.

Accounts are created by signing in with Discord. You must be at least 13 years old, and you must comply with Discord's own Terms of Service. You are responsible for keeping your Discord credentials secure, if your Discord account is compromised, your HUB account is too.

One account per person. Ban evasion via alternate accounts results in permanent removal of all associated accounts. Impersonating other community members, Spotbusters moderators, or Ubisoft staff is grounds for termination.

What you submit.

You retain ownership of anything you submit. By submitting, you grant Spotbusters HUB a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to display, archive and distribute that content as part of the platform including in group-private contexts where you submitted it to a group.

This licence is necessary for the archive to function: a spot you submitted in 2024 must remain part of the historical record even after you leave. If you delete your account, your contributions are anonymised, not removed.

• Do not submit content you do not have the right to submit (e.g. clips recorded by other people, without their permission).
• Credit the players who actually found or ran the spot, the credit field exists for this reason.
• Do not submit fabricated spot data. False or staged confirmations are grounds for an immediate ban.
• Posts must be in English so moderators can review them.

How to behave.

The platform voice is technical and precise. Disagreement about whether a spot works, or how to credit it, is welcome. Personal attacks are not. The following will result in account action:

• Harassment, threats, or targeting of community members on or off the platform.
• Vote manipulation: coordinating to up- or down-vote, or to mark spots broken/working dishonestly.
• Spamming posts, updates, comments or reports.
• Bypassing rate limits, scraping the site at scale, or attempting to disrupt platform infrastructure.
• Posting illegal content, sexual content, or content depicting minors in any compromising context.

Enforcement is at moderator discretion. Appeals can be raised in the Spotbusters Discord.

Groups and private posts.

Any user can create a group. Groups can be public (anyone can see member list and posts) or private (only members see posts). Joining is always approval-gated by the group's owner or group moderators, there is no silent self-join, even for public groups.

Group owners are responsible for the conduct of their members. Platform-level conduct rules above apply inside groups too, private visibility is not a shield against the rules.

Group-private posts are visible only to members of that group, enforced at the database layer. If you no longer want a private post visible to a group, the post's author or a platform admin can remove or anonymise it; the archive retention rules below still apply.

Archival policy.

Spots and tech that get patched out are not deleted. They stay in the database under their original ID with a patch-stamp tombstone. This is a core feature of the platform, the archive is the historical record of what existed and when.

You may not request deletion of one of your own posts on the grounds that the spot was later patched. You may request anonymisation of your handle on it.

Spot data may be referenced and shared for non-commercial community use. Bulk export, scraping, or commercial use of archive data requires written permission.

What we are not.

Spotbusters HUB is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to Ubisoft Entertainment. Rainbow Six Siege and all associated intellectual property belong to Ubisoft.

The platform is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime, the permanence of any specific piece of data, or the accuracy of community-submitted information. We are volunteers running this on a hobby budget.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the platform, reliance on any spot data, or actions of community members on or off-platform.

Updates to these terms.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post a notice in the Spotbusters Discord at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.

Material changes: those that reduce your rights or increase your obligations, will require an explicit acknowledgement on next sign-in.
